Born and raised in Colorado, Mike Penny has deep roots in the Denver community. After attending the University of Northern Colorado, he purchased his first home to remodel at just 22 years old—kicking off a lifelong passion for real estate. By 24, Mike made the leap into full-time real estate investing, and he hasn’t looked back since. With over 300 homes bought, remodeled, and sold across the metro area since 2002, Mike brings unmatched experience and insight to every project. As both a licensed general contractor and a seasoned real estate investor, he offers a unique, hands-on perspective that helps homeowners explore the best options for their property—whether that means renovating, selling, or something in between. Mike has seen the Denver-area market rise, fall, and transform over the last two decades. That firsthand knowledge, combined with a no-nonsense, results-driven approach, makes him a trusted partner in any real estate journey. When he’s not working on homes, Mike enjoys skiing Colorado’s slopes, cheering on the Colorado Avalanche, and coaching youth wrestling in his community.

Heather has been an integral part of SBMP for the past two years, serving as our dedicated Office Manager. She keeps the day-to-day operations running smoothly, overseeing everything from hiring vendors and managing accounts payable to coordinating insurance audits and staging properties. Outside of work, Heather is all about enjoying life. She loves going to concerts, cheering on the Colorado Avalanche, paddle boarding with friends, getting lost in a good book, catching movies, and spending quality time with her adult children. At home, she’s kept on her toes by her lovable rescue pets — a spirited tabby barn cat and a delightfully quirky pit bull.

Patti has extensive experience in the real estate industry, covering everything from mortgages and new home construction to major rehab projects. She lives in the mountains with a bunch of rescue and senior dogs and enjoys the simple things, especially helping people.
